Op to the shops.

So it seems the Op-shop Gods were definitely smiling upon me today and I walked away with quite a nice selection of goodies... In the past few years I have amassed a pretty huge wardrobe. These days I am trying to be a lot more selective with what I purchase, it's so easy to walk into an op shop and go nuts because everything is just so cheap, cheap, cheap. I've ended up with a lot of things in my cupboard that I just don't wear and that also take up valuable space. Out of the 5 or so op-shops I visited today (there is a really good pocket of them in Wallsend) this is what I brought home.

A really cute lace cami thing (looks like something a porn star would wear in the 70's) that I plan on layering over dresses and tops... also a nice little lacey singlet that will be good with shorts and happens to work really well with these AWESOME genie/sheer/High waisted/MC Hammer pants that I got too... I LOVE THEM, you can't see just how good they are in these pics but please take my word for it.

and on the body...

...I also got these nice 80's black leather mid height heels... I've been looking for this kinda thing for a while, a bit boring but a good staple...

... A very cute apron so I can be a true domestic goddess in the kitchen...

... and last but not least I got this great dress... the fabric is magic, It's HORSES... and I love the fact that it looks hand painted.

All in all I think the urge to buy has been pretty much satisfied... Seeing Soph's post about free Net-a-Porter postage however has reminded me that I have had these awesome Marni shoes sitting in my wish list box for the last month...

Can Santa please send me an extra $418.903... Please???
