Summer 07/08

Besides working, dreaming about holidays in Feb and planning my shopping route, deciding to be rock and get Maiden tickets, going to magazine launches, having meetings, going to BBQ's, getting the back yard in order, trying to get the online store sorted, wondering how I'm going to get my hands on the best Bjork tickets, hanging with Hamax, sleeping etc... The Summer 07/08 collection IS under way. Can't wait to show you.

We Are Giant's (photo subjects)

Thanks to Miss Brooke who pointed out that a certain Hayley Mei, Mexi and Krakha have thier pics up on Mike Giant's blog via Fecal Face.

Pick us out here.

Ususally I wouldn't hesitate to steal the pics and post them here, but I would feel a bit funny stealing from Giant. You should read the blog anyway, it's a good read. There's lots of fixed gear porn, if that's what you're into.

So we had some probs with the Press Release on the website, but it's all fixed now. Check it.

We've also managed to get our hands on to some sweet new colours for the summer range. Nice.

What does this man do in concert?

For the bargain price of $75.70, you can find out and see Lil Jon live at Billboards. Classy. What? Yeah...ok.

Nice crown.

I Miss You

You said you didn't like Australia and would never come back. I'm thankful that you lied, or forgot.

Yesterday afternoon I received an email from Mike which put my 'hold on to cash to see Bjork in another country' fund into dissaray. Ms Gudmunsdottir (aka Mrs Matthew Barney) will be coming to Australia. If you know me, then you'll know that this is my equivalent to travelling first class to NY to see Wu-Tang (yes, 'Ol Dirty would be there).

The bad news - she's playing the Big Day Out...I'm not a fan of festivals.

The good news - She's booked a 5000 ticket gig on January 23 to be held at the Opera House forecourt. Now I'll have to warn everyone to get the fuck out of my way when it comes to tickets, I will be a very unhappy Miss if I don't get one.

I was starting to get annoyed with people asking what I was doing for new years. Then I saw this and now I have an answer

Now we can bring it in with style. Keep up with Opulent for details.

Watch this space, we'll soon be announcing the first HM collaboration.

Mmmm, Babies

Favela Rock 17 Pics (Melbourne)

So my camera partly died in a track-side accident last week. That means this months photos were so so, it probably also had something to do with keeping off the booze as promised. I also had my cranky pants on. Next time I promise to drink more.

Keep an eye on Red Hot and $crilla for more pics.

Ice breaker of the night: "Did you go to Park Life?"
Smartly followed up with "Get away from me."

M.A.F.I.A. fresh as always

Mexi got his dancehall on. We did the stookie ignoring protest from our knees

CWD says, "Stop shouting at me!"

Poor random

Things you may have missed:

* Marathon make-up sessions in the ladies toilets (PS ladies, it's dark, no one cares)
* Nathan falling in a bin
* 'Stookie' learn it for next time. Try You Tube.
* If you came late and didn't get the M.A.F.I.A. Mix, you missed out! It's fucking Killerrrrrr!

Nath's hat is missing - you might have seen it flying across the room. Holla if you found it.

I requested a seat next to Eddie

Yo Gabba Gabba!

I thought Sesame Street was good, I'm all for cookie monster, but this has to be one of the best kids TV shows in the known universe. Yo Gabba Gabba! Highlights have to be "Biz's Beat". The show also features folks like Rahzel, Tony Hawk, Elijah Wood.

This reminds me of being at Favela Rock before I throw up.

Visit the website here.

Portugese Love

A little love from Portugal. Great to see HM up there with some other awesome ladies. You can read the translated version here. Though if you can speak the native tongue, it's probably best to go to the original.

Lifelounge Love

Lifelounge sent some love Hayley Mei's way. You can read the story here.

Not Bad For Winter

Sure, maybe the weather is warming up in some parts of the world, but we're not quite at the 40 Degree stage just yet. Word is that one of my favourites, Not Bad For A Girl will be running a line of winter gear in the coming months.

Just as I'm beginning to forget how bad my behaviour was last time... and the pics from #16 have almost disappeared from view, I'm ready to do it all again.

Thanks to Opulent!

Not Bad At All

I remember visiting Bond International last time I was in London and being completely blown away. Not only did they have a shop full of the dopest Streetwear Labels, Kicks, Graff ish and Accessories but they actually had Girls clothes. An amazing feat in this Kicks with Dicks game.

They had a few pieces by someone called Not Bad for a Girl, which were crazy, but it was between seasons and sizes were scarce so there was no joy. I put it in my head to remember to check it online.

Almost a year later and fuck has this label gotten hotter and hotter.

The tee range is dope.

There is an Addict x NBFG Hood on its way for Northern Winter.

And a Cookie Crew collaboration honoring the original Female Rap Crew from the late 80's.

Females are sleeping in Australia on everything, which is good for me and my crew because no one can bite our style, but we're always going to look good so here's the site. Buy some style for 22 quid.
