You can't just make shoes anymore, you have to be culturally relevant. And whilst you don't see many Sneaker Freaker's rocking Chuck Taylors, I'm pretty sure almost everyone in the world would have owned a pair in some form since their inception in the 1917.

The Chuck Taylor All Star is the Highest Selling Shoe in History. Period. And is now celebrating a Century of existence.
