Last night I heard a guy from Connex say (or should we say, admit), "It's not the graffiti vandals that stop and delay trains, it's the bloody idiots that hold the doors open for their friends for 4 minutes."
Yes, he was in full uniform. I s'pose the Herald Sun would have something to say about that.

That guy was obviously drunk. We all know (from reading the paper) that delayed trains are caused by graffiti vandals. They are usually between 14 and 17. They hang out in gangs at Southland, Highpoint and other large shopping centres. They have gang wars over turf and their preffered weapon is the handle from a safeway trolley.
People who hold the door open for me should be knighted. Heaven forbid I should have to wait a few minutes for the next one in peakhour.
